This week was an interesting one. I actually thought my water broke, and so I called the Dr. and they told me to go to triage to get checked to see if I was in labor or not. As it turns out, I was not! lol I think most women at one point or another during the last few weeks of pregnancy take a trip to the hospital thinking they are in labor and it turns out to be false. I guess it's a mix between the inexperience, nervousness of not knowing what to expect (specially if this is the first baby) and also the anxiety of already wanting to meet my baby girl that makes you think the "time is here". Now that I know we are full term and she's ready to meet the outside world I really can't wait for it to happen. Also, the room is ready, car seat is ready to go, and the hospital bags are packed.... so there's not much more left to do and I just want it to happen already! 
Although my belly is huge, and I have been feeling her kick and move for a few months now I still can't believe there's a little baby inside me, a perfect creation of God and that soon I'm going to have the honor to be her mom! It's just incredible to feel like this; we are truly blessed by our Lord and we just pray for an easy labor and a healthy baby.

This week was daddy's birthday, he turned 31, which you may think it's really old but it really isn't. Also, he doesn't look his age at all, you'll get to see that soon! You'll also get to celebrate his 32nd birthday with us next year and give him a big kiss... trust me you are gong to love him soo much that you are really going to want to.

You have been moving my belly so hard that it's really visible! I can see how my belly moves from side to side and up and down... it's really amazing to see this! We love you and can't believe your birthday is almost here! We really can't wait.

This week was Valentine's day and daddy and I had a date... yes, you'll find out what those are one day! Although I'm not sure you dad will ever be happy about you going on dates, but we'll work on that! ;) Well, our date was at "Color me Mine" a place where you get to decorate pottery. We decided to make a piggy bank for you, something you can have for a long time and know that we made it with alot of love and worked hard to make it look beautiful for you! We really hope you like it, we had fun doing it together for you.

Also, this week, daddy's co-workers threw a surprise baby shower for him and the invited me over to surprise him! It was very thoughtful of them and you my princess got alot cute things, and of course more shoes!!! It was also my last week of at work and they also had a surprise shower/godbye party for me. We feel so very loved and blessed!

You are growing by the day, seriously, like an ounce a day and I can feel and see it in my belly as it keeps on growing. You have also been having hiccups at least 3 times a day, I hope it doesn't bother you too much, I know I don't like hiccups at all! This week we also had an ultrasound, where we got to see you and thank God everything is great, you are just a little tight in there at this point but most importantly it's all looking good! You are head down so please don't decide to turn around last minute! =)

Dear Eslie,
As we wash all your little cute clothe I can't help but daydream about you and wonder how you are going to look and of course picture you wearing cute outfits. Everytime I look down at my belly it's just an awesome feeling. It's incredible to know you are in there and that and that you are responsible for making my belly move up and down and in all directions really!
As we get closer to the day we'll get to meet you, there are so many thought going through my head. Of courser I think of the day of the delivery, how it's all going to happen. I think of your heath and pray that everything will be ok, that you may have 10 toes and 10 fingers. I think of those first few days and how daddy and I will handle you since we have no idea of how to do it...but don't worry, we'll learn! Besides all that I also think of having everything absolutely ready for when the time comes to meet you, but I am happy to say we are missing very few details to have the room ready for you. We have already washed the clothe and blankets and organized it and also the diaper bag is packed and ready to go to the hospital! =)  The bathroom should be ready soon..and I just can't wait to have it all put together, although I know you won't even use half of these thing until you are much older. I don't know if it's too early to fix and organize some of these things, but I think it's good timing, in reality you can come any time now!
There's sooo much love waiting for you out here, can't wait to meet you... I'm sooo excited!!

I know we still have about 7 more weeks until we get to see you, but I'm getting anxious and can't wait. Good news is, that daddy is almost done with the room, there are very little things left to do and he has done a fantastic job! I'm sure you are going to love all of it. We are still waiting a little closer to the due date to to do a few things because I feel like things will be dirty by that time, but knowing me, I have the feeling I'm going to want to put it all together sooner because I can't wait to see the room completely finished. You have been moving alot and hard!!! Sometimes you put your little tiny feet against my ribs that I feel like you are going to break them (hahaha) nonetheless I'm still enjoying it. It's getting a little more uncomfortable to sleep but I'm managing to get through it, I think it's a way of my body getting me trained for when you get here and I have to wake up to feed you in the middle of the night.

We can't wait to meet you and we just pray for your safe arrival!

Since we had the baby shower last week...this week it's been mainly about getting everything out of the bags and boxes and trying to start organizing everything you got, and that's a whole lot of things! I love doing this though because I get to see everything all over and over again. So many cute outfits, bows, blankets, towels and of course shoes! I am happy to inform you that as of now you have 35 pairs of shoes!!! We are going to have so much fun dressing you up, I hope you like to do so as much as I do :) This upcoming weekend we are going to try to finish putting the last touches on your room, we don't have that much left to do so I'm really hoping we get to be almost done and ready for your arrival.
On another note, I have been thinking alot about the delivery, I guess because we are getting closer to the big day. To tell you the truth I get kind of scared because I have no idea of what to expect. I wonder how the pain really is, because nobody seems to be able to really describe it. I also wonder how long it's going to take and if hopefully all goes as planned and I can have you all natural. The one thing that keeps me from being scared and "freaked out" is thinking of the moment I get to see you. They say you forget all the pain you went through and just get filled with this awesome feeling of joy and happiness... I really can't wait to experience that!

We went to the Dr this week, and guess what?! you are already head down... I hope you don't decide to change positions at the last minute. We got to hear your heartbeat... I never get tired of that, it's the best sound in the world. We love you.

Week 31 was a big week for us. We got see our maternity pictures taken by Stephan Maloman and what can I say...no disappointment there! We absolutely loved them. We loved that he captured our joy during this time in our lives with very natural pictures of us..not posed, because I have to say I really don't like those super posed pictures! During this shoot we went back to the train where we took out engagement pictures and we took the same picture but now 7 months pregnant.. it was great, although much harder to climb up on the train! Also during this week something really exciting and special just happened.... OUR BABY SHOWER!!! I'm soo thankful for all the love we got, and gifts and time with family and friends. My mom and my aunt worked really hard on this baby shower..and I have to say it totally paid off. My aunt had dreams at night of ideas for the baby shower lol, no I'm not kidding. For example the cake  was revealed to her one night (lol) and it came out just like her vision, a pink wonder! The theme of the shower was "Sweet little Lambs" and the color scheme was creams and pinks, and a touches of green! It was totally stress free for me, as I didn't do anything.. I know... amazing! It was all surprise. I totally trust my aunt and mom and their taste is impeccable so I let them do whatever they wanted, and I loved it all. The moment I walked in to my parents house (where we had the shower) I was in love with everything I saw. The decorations were spectacular, desserts besides being adorable were really yummy, food was great, people were great, and there was even a very cute slideshow of pictures of Christian and I when we were babies! We received, many, many, many gifts... there are few items missing, but all the major things we have! and that's just a huge blessing from God. We are working on finishing the room to be able to set everything in place, totally exciting!

I can't thank our Lord enough for all the blessing He has given us. So much love and awesome things that we really don't deserve and it's been given to us by pure grace! A special thank you to my mom and aunt for putting this baby shower together for me...it was perfect and so gorgeous! I love you all for sharing this special day in our lives with us and we can't wait to share many, many more special times together and most importantly we can't wait for everyone to meet our little precious girl ESLIE!

I can tell you this for a fact....you have the best father in the world!! He has been working on your room nonstop and it's really paying off. He's almost done with the room and it's beautiful! The wallpaper is up, crib has been put together, and you have a beautiful closet to put all your clothe and shoes. I'm so proud of daddy for doing all this and I love to see him so excited to do this for you! We are truly blessed to have him.
We had some help from friedns and family and are super thankful for that! We have kept pictures of every step so that one day you get to see them. We love you!!!

I can't believe we only have 10 more weeks as "womb-mates" They told me at the very beginning that pregnancy was very long, and although true I have to admit that it has gone by pretty fast. This week I have felt you move almost all day long every day, I really think you are running out of room in there. Sometimes I worry that you'll come before the due date, but all I can do it's trust in the Lord that even if you do come before full term it's going to be in his perfect timing. But if you are listening... just stay in there until you are super ready to come, no matter how uncomfortable I get...Got it?! Good!

The baby shower is next week and Abuela and tia Danly have been working really hard for it. They haven't let me do anything for it so I don't get stressed and just be able to enjoy everything, this is an awesome blessing! I can't thank God enough for them and I can't wait to see how everything is going to look.. I only know the theme but nothing more than that, what I do know for a fact is that we are going to love it all! I'll let you know how it goes and all the gifts you get.

Baby Girl:
This week we had the huge blessing of being able to take picture with our favorite photographer once again.. Stephan Maloman. I can't wait to see how they are going to come out.

You have been moving ALOT!!! My belly moves like in a wave..it's such an incredible feeling! Makes it all feel even more real, you really are in there, a true miracle of God. I can't wait until that very moment when we get to see you for the first time. I think about it all the time, I wonder if I'm going to cry, I wonder how dad is going to react.. all I know it's that it's going to be an amazing moment, one we'll never forget for sure.

Every morning while I have breakfast I watch "A Baby Story" on TLC and that's my favorite moment to watch, when the babies come out and meet their parents for their first time. Don't tell anybody, but I cry every time this happens! hahaha so I can just imagine when I get to see you, after having you in my belly for so long. Words cannot express how much we already love you!

My belly is growing alot..which means that you are too! some people ask me if I'm sure there aren't two of you in there! hahaha we are pretty sure that's not the case, although sometimes the movements feel like there's 4 other babies in there with you, but really not complaining about that at all. One of my favorite things about being pregnant is to feel you move... I really thank God every time it happens.
